How to See When and Who Opens your Email

Few Weeks ago we mention about a free extension called RightInbox, Which allows you to Track sent emails and get notified when it is opened in Gmail. We all know that Gmail doesn’t provide any feature to track the email that you sent form your inbox and most of the users are looking for the same feature to get notified when sent email is opened. Today we found one more new Google chrome addon called Signals, Which allows you to see when and who opens your email. The addon is free to use and works with Gmail, Outlook for Windows, Salesforce, Hubspot, Nimble and Outlook.com. All you have to install the addon from the Google Chrome web store and connect your Gmail account with t the addon to get started. So lets take a look how the extension works with Gmail.

How to Setup Signal Addon to See Who Opens your Email

Open the the Google Chrome Browser on your desktop, the addon will works only with the Google Chrome browser. If you don’t have the Google Chrome browser, then download the latest version of Google Chrome browser here. Open the Google Chrome web store on your browser or click this link https://chrome.google.com/webstore/ to open the web store and search for the Signals Addon or you will find the Direct link of the Signal addon at the end of this post. Install the Addon on your browser to start the setup process.

Once the installation is finished on your chrome you will see the new page on your browser to setup your Gmail account or click this link https://app.getsignals.com/install/google to setup your Gmail account. Enter your Gmail login details to start getting notifications.

Connect Gmail Account

Now the setup process is finished, Go to your Gmail inbox and click on the compose button to compose a new email. On the compose window you will see the new Signal track button. Check the box to track the email and you will get notified when the recipient opens the mail. If you don’t want to track the email then uncheck the button.

Now once the recipient open you email you will see the notification on your Google Chrome browser. On the Google Chrome browser you will see the new Signal Icon on top right corner of the Google Toolbar, Click on the icon and view details like when did the user open it, at what time he or she open the email, from which place and how many time he or she viewed the email.
