Install Android 5.0.2 Lollipop CM12 ROM on Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505

Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 android smartphone has yet to receive an official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update. But If you can’t wait for the update and want to experience the Android Lollipop on your S5, Here is the guide which you can follow on your S5 and install the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop CM12 ROM. Install CM12 Android 5.0.2 on the Galaxy S4

Step 1. As we mention to get started you need a rooted device with TWRP or CWM recovery. Check our guide Hot to root S4.

Step 2. Once the device is rooted and recovery is installed, download the CM12 ROM Zip file and Google Apps zip file from the below mention links.

Step 3. Now move the both zip files to your SD Card.

Step 4. Then turn OFF your phone and boot in recovery mode. Switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together.

Step 5. Perform a full device, cache and dalvik cache swipe fro recovery.

Step 6. Then choose the “install zip from SD card” option. Select the Cyanogenmod 12 Android 5.0.2 zip file and Flash it, after the Flash the Google apps zip file.

Step 7. Once done, hit the “Reboot system now” button.

Your Galaxy S4 will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait. Now your phone is running on the CM 12 Android 5.0.2 lollipop ROM.
