This tip will only work on Gmail ID, Gmail has a nice feature where you can create aliases. Yes, all you have to to do is enter (.) or (+)anywhere in the username. With this way you can create the aliases of your Gmail Login ID. We tested this tips in our Twitter account and it works smoothly.
In the above screenshot we are using irajeshrajput@gmail.com to create a new twitter account. After that we used the alias account ID irajesh.rajput@gmail.com and the email address is accepted to create and manage the new twitter account. Also we received the confirmation email from the twitter on our alias ID irajesh.rajput@gmail.com that our twitter account is created.
If your email address is: YOURNAME@gmail.com all the below addresses are valid and will arrive to the same inbox:
YOUR.NAME@gmail.com
Y+OURNAME@gmail.com
YOU.RNA.ME@gmail.com
Y.O.U.R.N.A.M.E@gmail.com
What Gmail Say about the Alias IDs:– Gmail doesn’t offer traditional aliases, but you can receive messages sent to your.username+any.alias@gmail.com. For example, messages sent to jane.doe+notes@gmail.com are delivered to jane.doe@gmail.com. You can set up filters to automatically direct these messages to Trash, apply a label or star, skip the inbox, or forward to another email account.
Another method to manage multiple Twitter accounts– this process also is easy, all you have to use your Gmail ID with another domain googlemail.com. Example if your id is YOURNAME@gmail.com then you can also use YOURNAME@googlemail.com. That means to create two twitter accounts you can use the same email ID with different domain name.
