Tested so many Custom ROMs on your Xiaomi Redmi 1s, and now want to revert back or go back on Stock MIUI ROM. Recently one of the Redmi 1s user who is on Android 5.1.1 Mokee ROM want to Rollback to MIUI Stock ROM from custom ROM. Today in this tutorial we’ll show you how you can do this on your android smartphone and enjoy the Stock ROM. Flashing back the stock ROM will help you resolve any issues that you might be facing with your current ROM.The process is so simple and doesn’t require so much time or skills, all you have to flash some zip file on your Redmi 1s and you are done.

Before following the below mention tutorial, do take the backup of your phone and make the battery of your device is above 80%. Read all the steps very carefully and follow them one by one on your Redmi 1s.

How to Go Back To MIUI Stock ROM On Redmi 1s

Revert back to Stock MIUI ROM on Redmi 1S

Step 1. Download the latest stable Stock MIUI ROM for Redmi 1s here and rename it to update.zip

Step 2. Now you need a Redmi 1s Stock recovery, download it here and save on your desktop.

Step 3. Once the files are downloaded, copy the stock recovery file on your phone.

Step 4. Now boot your phone into recovery mode. Power off the phone and then press ‘Power + volume up’ button simultaneously to boot into recovery mode.

Step 5. From the recovery, Select ‘Install Zip’ and locate your Stock Recovery downloaded from step 2.

Step 6. Install the file and reboot it.

Step 7. Now you phone has the Stock recovery.

Step 8. Now copy the update.zip file on your phone, the same file that you downloaded and renamed on step 1.

Step 9. Now reboot to Stock Recovery.

Step 10. From the next screen select language. Use volume keys to navigate and power key to confirm. Choose English.

Step 11. Now select ‘Wipe & Reset’. Then ‘Wipe User Data’ and ‘Wipe Cache’.

Step 12. After this go back to the recovery main menu and select ‘Install update.zip to System’. Select Yes to confirm and the installation process will start.

Step 13. Once completed, reboot the device from the recovery main menu.

BINGO! You are on MIUI Stock ROM now

  2. Yes, Steps are the same. But you need a Mi3 Stock Recovery and MI3 rom. Here in this guide both the downloaded links are only for Redmi 1s

  3. Does stable version is necessary or we can also install miui 6 beta from mokee custom ROM directly..??
