Good news for all Xiaomi Redmi 1S users, the new official MIUI 6 update is available for the phone now. MIUI 6 is the latest ROM version created and developed by Xiaomi and the new build is based on the Android KitKat. At the moment Redmi 1s is running on the MIUI 5 and now the MIUI 6 is released for the phone. The new update for the Redmi 1S arrives as MIUI V6.6.1.0.KHCMICF and is 642MB in size. If you are the Redmi 1s users and want to install the new MIUI 6 stable ROM on your phone. Here is the guide which you can follow on your phone and update the same with this latest update. The process is very simple and takes a few minutes to install the MIUI 6.
To apply this new update all, you need an ROM file and have to flash with the recovery. Before following the below mention guide, do take the full backup of your phone and save it in some place. Read all the steps very carefully and follow them step by step.
Install MIUI 6 on Redmi 1S
Step 1. Download the MIUI 6 V6.6.1.0.KHCMICF ROM for Redmi 1S here and save it on your desktop. Do not extract the folder.
Step 2. Rename the downloaded ROM file to ‘update.zip’ on the computer.
Step 3. Connect your phone to the PC with USB cable and copy the ROM file downloaded and renamed in Step 1 into the root directory of the internal storage of your device. (Do not put it in any folder)
Step 4. Now boot your phone in recovery mode. To do this open the ‘Updater’ app on your device, click the ‘…’ icon at the top-right corner, and select ‘Reboot to Recovery mode’ to enter.
Step 5. Now your phone will boot in Recovery Mode. Choose the language you use, select ‘Install update.zip to System One’ and confirm, and then your device will begin updating automatically.
Step 6. Once the update process is done, choose ‘Reboot to System One’, and then your device should boot to the new MIUI 6 version.
Now, enjoy the new MIUI 6 on your Xiaomi Redmi 1S.

Try to get into Recovery and do a Factory Reset and then Install zip again.

i got notification about update i just pressed update than automatically got update, after that its came lyk this..
Faced the same issue on our othr xiaomi device. Wipe cache will solve this problem. Other wise use the fastboot method to reinstall the ROM. Currently MIUI 6 Fastboot ROM is not availble.
