If you are the Owner of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and bored with MIUI OS and want to change it with the Stock Android. Stock Android is very different as compare to MIUI Android. If the answer is yes then here is the tutorial which you can follow on your Redmi Note 3 and install the Stock Android with working fingerprint sensor. To follow this guide all you have to unlock the bootloader of your phone and install TWRP custom recovery. Here is the complete guide to officially unlock the bootloader and install the TWRP. After that, all you have to do is flash the Stock Android ZIP file on your phone and you are done. The process is very simple and takes only a few minutes to complete the whole task.
This guide is only for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 android users and don’t follow this method on any other Xiaomi phone. Before following the below mention tutorial on your phone do take the full backup. Read All the instruction very carefully and follow all the steps one by one.

Install Stock Android on Remdi Note 3
Step 1. Unlock the bootloader of your Redmi Note 3 and install TWRP here. If you already did that then follow the step 2.

Step 2. Download the AOSP 5.1.1 zip file for Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 here. The ROM is prerooted, pre-gapped and pre-xposed.
Step 3. Now place the file in your phone’s internal memory and remember the location.
Step 4. Now boot your phone into TWRP recovery mode. To do this open the Update App on your phone > Go to options and Select Reboot to recovery.
Step 5. Once you are in Recovery mode. Click on the Backup and Select Swipe to backup. This will take the backup of all your MIUI System. In future if you want to come back to MIUI, Use the restore option ton install the Backup System on your Phone.
Step 6. Now go back to the main menu and Select the Install option. And select the AOSP ROM zip file that you save on your phone in step 2. And flash it.
Step 7. Now go back and Reboot your phone, Now the device will boot in the AOSP ROM.

I did this step by step, my phone kept crashing right after it starts up with the stock android. I did it all over again, and now when I unlock there is a black screen and it still crashes anyway. is there another distribution I can try with?
