Android 5.1.1 is the latest version of Android Lollipop, and the new version is available for the Android One Mobile phone like Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4501, Karbonn Sparkle V, Symphony Roar A50, Nexian Journey One Mi438S, etc. If you the owner of any of these phone then you can get this update via OTA. Or you can simply flash the update on your phone with stock recovery or custom Recovery. Here in this tutorial we’ll show you how to install latest Android 5.1.1 OTA LMY47V OTA Update on Android One phones. The process is very simple and takes a few minutes to complete the task. This guide will work only if your Android device is running Android 5.1 build, LMY47O. To check this go to the Settings > About phone. This will upgrade the phone from LMY47O to LMY47V (Android 5.1.1).

Step 1. Download the update file from the below mention links:-

If your phone is running on the Stock Recovery than use these links and update with stock recovery.

If you are running the custom recovery like TWRP and CWM than use the below mention files.

Android One 4GB sets
Android One 8GB sets

Step 2. Now transfer the updated zip file on your phone and remember the location where you put it.

Step 3. Now reboot your phone in recovery mode. To do this, Switch off you phone and Press and hold power + volume up button until you see anything on the screen. Now use Volume up Button to select Recovery and Volume Doan to select it.

Step 4. Now you are on the Recovery mode, From stock recovery, select Install zip from sd card option. (On TWRP/CWM recovery, options are very similar.)

Step 5. Select the Zip file that you saved on your phone on Step 2.

Step 6. Confirm by selecting Yes on next screen and let the recovery flash the OTA file.

Step 7. Once the flashing process is completed, go back to the recovery main menu and Reboot System.

Now your Android One is running on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Hello!Can you please help with update issue of my phone(Karbonn Sparkle V).I tried with my normal system update but my phone keeps on saying error in the process of booting device & i followed with your process too downloading zip package & tried installing with recovery mode but again my phone keeps on saying system/bin/debuggerd” has unexpected contents.Errror in/sideload/package.zip..i dont what that means plz can u help me update my phone version 5.1.1
