Xiaomi Mi3 Stuck in Android Boot Loop or Restarting itself – Tips to FIX it

Recently one of our reader contacted us that after installing the MIUI 6 beta version on his Mi3 Smartphone his device restart itself time to time. One more reader told us that his Xiaomi Mi3 phone is stuck on Android boot loop or on MI Logo Screen. IF you are facing the same situation on your phone, here are some tips which you can apply on your phone and come out this boot loop problem. The process is very simple and doesn’t take so much time. All you have to use some key combination or recovery mode to come out of this problem.

The major cause of this problem is when you are updating your device to the new version via the recovery mode or flashing the rom on your device. In fact we also faced this issue on our MI# when we updated it with the MIUI 6 beta version. But within a few minutes we solve the problem. So below are the step which you can follow on your Xiaomi mi3 android smartphone.

Fix to Solve Android Boot Loop Issue On Mi3

Step 1. If your phone restarting again n again and you can see the homescreen on your phone. Then go to the Update and press the menu button and select “Reboot to Recovery Mod” option.

OR

If the phone stuck on the MI logo. Then Turn it off by pressing the power button and after a few seconds press “volume UP +power “ button to go into recovery.

Step 2. Once your phone is in recovery mode. From the menu select “English”.

Step 3. Now from the main menu select “Wipe & Reset” option.

Step 4. Now from the next screen, select Wipe all Data.

Step 5. Now select Yes to start erasing the settings and data on your phone.

Once completed go back to the main menu and reboot your device. Now your MI3 will boot and you will see the homescreen on your phone.

    once complete
    It ask for Reboot to system one (latest) or reboot to system two.

    which one to select ?

    Recently, I had installed CyanogenMOD CM11 on my RedMI 1s. It is working okay, but bluetooth is not working in it and 3G is not coming so net is slow. Also, volume also less in it. I did not like this and I wanted to uninstall it and revert back to MIUI. Can you help me out in this regard.

    I tried to fastboot, tried to go to recovery mode, but the device is getting stuck. Please help me.

  5. hello @sidharth I am using xiaomi redmi 2 it got boot loop so I flashed the device with new rom miui 8 stable after that when ever i connect my charger the phone works but as I remove from charging it restarts and showing mi logo but then restarts.(boot loop). I tried wiping all data but still same. can you please help me with this?

  6. I am running redmi mi 1s with MiUi 9. I have another problem. My phone is not restarting. It is directly getting in boot. I can’t Switch it on or off. I have rooted it today.
