To get started all you have to download the Google App package on your phone and install the same with the help of TWRP recovery. After this you can enjoy all the Google apps on your Xiaomi android smartphone. So lets take a look how this works.
Install Google Apps on Mi 3, Redmi 1s
Step 1. Download and Install the TWRP recovery on Mi3 and Redmi 1s first.
Step 2. After that download Google Apps and Services form the bleow mention links:-
Google apps and services for Kit KAt and AOSP can be downloaded from here
Google apps and services for jelly bean can be downloaded from here
Step 3. Once the zip file is downloaded, copy the same on your devcie.
Step 4. Now boot your phone in recovery mode. TO do this Press Power button-> Reboot -> Keep pressing volume up button for a long time during phone rebooting. You will be landed on TWRP recovery.
Step 5. from the recovery main menu, tap on the “Install” button.
Step 6. Now from the next screen select the “Google Apps Zip” file that you copied on your phone.
Step 7. Once the zip file is selected on the recovery screen, Swipe to Flash.
Step 8. Now reboot the phone.
Once the deice is rebooted, you will see all the Google app on your app drawer. Enjoy.
