Step 1. Download Android 5.1.1 Gapps (Google Apps) Date 4-21-15 from here -91MB Size (Don’t extract the zip file)

Step 2. To install the package on your phone, copy the zip file on your android.

Step 3. Turn off your device and boot in recovery mode.

Step 4. From the recovery main menu select the “Install from .zip” or “Install Zip From Sdcard” option

Step 5. Select the “gapps-L-3-14-15.zip” file, that you saved on your android on step 2.

Step 6. Flash the file on your phone and wait for a few seconds to complete the flashing process.

Step 7. Once the Flashing process is done, reboot your deivice.

You have now successfully installed all Google Apps on Android 5.1.1 custom ROM or CM 12 ROM.

  7. hey i using moto e at 5.1.1 cyanogen mode. but it is support google apps like google play store, google play service, google maps, gmail, and youtube. so hoe i can install this applications

  8. For God sake, how do we boot in recovery mode? I know only one way to boot my tablette, i push the one and only f****** button …

  9. Ok, on ma tablet with the customized rom lollipop i reboot in recovery mode by going to settings … /backup and reset/system upgrade/Recovery mode : Ok …
    And not by a key combination on a turn off device …

  12. I select the option install zip from sdcard but I dont found the option of choosing file from my android and when I click on install zip it shows not found update.zip in sdcard whether it is in sdcard.
    what should I do???? please reply

  16. Hey I’m using Samsung J5. I’m can’t sign in my Google accounts. Is it because I have custom Rom. If so if I download and install gapps from here and so as I say can I sign into my accounts. Plz help……??
