Redmi Note 3 PRO is the latest android smartphone from Xiaomi mobiles and comes with some awesome specs. The new android phone is already available in India and most of the Xiaomi fans already bought the new phone. The new phone comes with the new MIUI 7 and some new security features. Also, all the latest Xiaomi phone comes with the locked bootloader. If you are the Redmi Note 3 PRO user and want to root your phone, then you have to first unlock the bootloader of your phone. Here in the latest tutorial, we’ll show you how to root Redmi Note 3 PRO and install the TWRP recovery. All you have to unlock the bootloader first and install the TWRP with the fastboot commands and you are done. The process is a little bit lengthy but not so difficult.

This guide is only for the Redmi Note 3 PRO users and don’t try this method on any of other Xiaomi phone. Before following this guide do take the full backup of your phone read all the below mention instructions very carefully and follow all the steps one by one on your phone.

First, unlock the bootloader of your phone, read the full guide here. If you already did that then go to the step 1.

Step 1. Download the ADB files here on your desktop and this will create ADB folder on your Windows C Drive.

Step 2. Once the ADB files are installed on your desktop. Download the appropriate Boot image for Redmi Note 3 pro from here and place rename the file to boot.img. [Select according to your version of MIUI] Place the file in the ADB folder.

Step 3. Now download the TWRP recovery image file here and Place the file in the ADB folder.

Step 4. To root the phone you need Super SU zip file, Download it from here and save it on your phones internal memory.

Step 5. Boot your phone is fastboot mode. To do this switch off your phone and Hold the Volume down button with Power button to boot the phone in fastboot mode.

Step 6. Once your phone in fastboot mode, connect your phone to he PC with USB cable. And open a command window in your fastboot/adb folder (C:\adb). To do this Hold Shift button on your keyboard and right-click on the empty space of the folder.

Step 7. To check whether your phone is successfully connected to the PC, enter the following command

fastboot devices

Now you will see the serial number of your phone in the window. This means your phone is successfully connected.

Step 8. Now enter the following command to flash boot.img on your phone.

fastboot flash boot boot.img

Step 9. After that enter the following command to flash recovery.img on your phone.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Step 10. To root your phone. Boot your phone in recovery mode. To do this Hold the Volume up button with Power button to boot the phone in recovery mode.

Step 11. Now your phone in Recovery mode. If recovery shows in the Chinese language, change it to English. Now go to install the select the Super Su Zip file that you saved on your phone Step 4. And flash it.

Step 12. Once the file is flashed. Reboot your phone.

Now Redmi Note 3 PRO is rooted with TWRP recovery.
