If you recently Bought the OnePlus 3 android phone and rooted with TWRP recovery. And now want to Unroot OnePlus 3 and go back to the latest Stock Oxygen OS. Here is the step by step guide to Unroot Oneplus 3 and Install the latest Stock Oxygen OS Firmware. Now the Question is why to unroot Oneplus 3 and install theStock Firmware. When the phone is rooted then, you can’t install the latest OTA updates on the phone and sometimes you have to unroot the phone and install the stock firmware again to get the OTA update on the phone. So here in this tutorial, we’ll show you how to do this in straightforward steps and flash the Stock OS on your Oneplus 3.

This guide is only for the Oneplus 3 users and doesn’t follow the below mention steps on any other Android devices. This process will wipe your data, so do take the backup of your Oneplus 3 and read all the instruction very carefully.

Things You need to Unroot Oneplus3

a) Latest Oxygen OS ROM zip File. Download here.

b) Battery Above 60%

c) Backup Oneplus 3

How to Unroot Oneplus 3 and Flash Oxygen OS ROM

Step 1. Open the SuperSu application your phone. Go to the Setting and Uncheck/untick the Enable Supers check box. Reboot phone.

Step 2. Now the phone is unrooted and all you have to flash the latest Stock Firmware on your Oneplus 3.

Step 3. Save the Latest Oxygen OS ROM zip File on your Oneplus 3 internal memory and remember the location of your file.

Step 4. Boot your Phone into TWRP recovery mode. Read here how to do that.

Step 5. Once the phone is in recovery mode. Tap Wipe and “Swipe to Factory Reset”.

Step 6. Once done, go back to the TWRP main menu and Tap on the Install Button. Now browse for the Oxygen OS ROM zip File that you saved on your phone in Step 3.

Step 7. Select the ZIP file and Swipe to Confirm Flash.

Step 8. Now the installation process will begin on your phone, and it will take some time to finish the process.

Step 9. Once completed, Select WipeCache/Dalvik from the same screen and “Reboot System.”

Step 10. Now the Oneplus 3 will boot, and First boot will take some time to update the system files on your phone.,
